  1. Our Commitment to Privacy

    This notice describes CBD Meds, LLC’s (hereinafter “CBD”) Privacy Policy.  Our privacy policy is designed to advise you about how we collect, use, and protect the personal information you provide. By visiting this site, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.  If you do not accept the practices detailed herein, you may not use our site.  By your continued use of our site, you agree to be bound by our privacy policy.

  2. What Information is Collected

    (a) Information You Provide to Us: We collect any information you enter on our site, or that you give us in any other way.  When you sign up for CBD User Account, you are required to provide an email address, first and last name, and password (collectively "Registration Information").  In order to benefit fully from CBD Products and Service, you can also add additional personal details to your User Account.

    Information sent wirelessly to the Service is stored in your CBD User Account.  Information that you add manually to the Service is stored in your User Account.  When you elect to share data from your User Account with others, we collect the information you provide about those individuals such as their name and email address. You can choose not to provide certain information, but you may not be able to take advantage of our services and features.  We may also collect demographic information, such as your ZIP code, preferences, and interests. If you choose to make a purchase or sign up for a our service, we will ask for additional information, such as your credit card number and billing address, which is used to create a billing account.  As part of creating your credentials, you may also be requested to provide questions and secret answers, which we use to help verify your identity and assist in resetting your password, as well as an alternate e-mail address. Some services may require added security, and in these cases, you may be asked to create an additional security key. Finally, a unique ID number will be assigned to your credentials which will be used to identify your credentials and associated information.

    (b) Automatic Information: When you visit our website, you disclose certain information, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and the time of your visit. This site, like many other sites, records this basic information about visits to our site.

    (c) "Cookies": Depending on how you use our site, we may store cookies on your computer in order to collect certain aggregate data about our users and to customize certain aspects of your specific user experience. A cookie is a small data text file which is stored on your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. Cookies may also include more personalized information, such as your IP address, browser type, the server your computer is logged onto, the area code and zip code associated with your server, and your first name to welcome you back to our Site. We may use cookies to perform tasks such as: monitoring aggregate site usage metrics, storing and remembering your passwords (if you allow us to do so), storing account and advertising preferences that you have set, and personalizing the Services we make available to you. However, we do not use cookies to track your browsing behaviors. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some aspects of the site may not function properly if you elect to disable cookies.

  3. How and When the Information is Used.

    The information we collect is used for administering our business activities. These uses may include providing you with more effective customer service; making the sites or services easier to use by eliminating the need for you to repeatedly enter the same information; performing research and analysis aimed at improving our products, services and technologies; and displaying content and advertising that are customized to your interests and preferences. We also use your personal information to communicate with you. We may send certain mandatory service communications such as welcome letters, purchase confirmation, information on technical service issues, and security announcements. We may also send periodic letters that are considered part of the service.  Additionally, with your permission and consent, we may also occasionally send you product surveys or promotional mailings to inform you of other products or services available from our affiliates, and/or share your personal information with our advertisers so they may send you information about their products and services.  We may also disclose information about you if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our terms and conditions or protect our operations or users or if we are required to do so by any applicable law, rule, regulation, subpoena or other legal process. Additionally, in the event of a reorganization, merger, or sale we may transfer any and all personal information we collect to the relevant third party.

  4. How We Protect Your Information

    The privacy and protection of your information is important to us.

    Your access to some services and content is password protected. We advise that you do not disclose your password to anyone. In addition, we recommend you sign out of password-protected services at the end of your session.  Except as described in this statement, we will not disclose your personal information to third parties or advertisers without your consent.

    We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, such as handling the processing and delivery of mailings, providing customer support, hosting websites, processing transactions, or performing statistical analysis of our services. Those service providers will be permitted to obtain only the personal information they need to deliver the service. They are required to maintain the confidentiality of the information and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose than for delivering the service to us in accordance with our instructions and policies. However, our fraud detection vendors may use data to help improve their services. This helps them more accurately detect fraudulent transactions. We may access or disclose information about you, including the content of your communications, in order to: (a) comply with the law or respond to lawful requests or legal process; (b) protect the our rights or property or our customers, including the enforcement of our agreements or policies governing your use of the services; or (c) act on a good faith belief that such access or disclosure is necessary to protect the personal safety of our employees, customers or the public. We may also disclose personal information as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or sale of assets.

  5. Who Has Access to the Information

    Information about our users is important to us. CBD will not disclose any individually identifiable information to any third party without first receiving that user's permission.

  6. Methods We Use to Protect Your Information

    We use security software to protect the confidentiality of your personal information. In addition, our business practices are reviewed periodically for compliance with policies and procedures governing the security and confidentiality of our information. Our business practices limit employee access to confidential information, and limit the use and disclosure of such information to authorized persons. We are committed to protecting the security of your personal information and information collected for advertising purposes. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. For example, we store the personal information you provide on computer systems with limited access, which are located in controlled facilities. When we transmit highly confidential information (such as a credit card number or password) over the Internet, we protect it through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

    If a password is used to help protect your accounts and personal information, it is your responsibility to keep your password confidential. Do not share this information with anyone. If you are sharing a computer with anyone you should always log out before leaving a site or service to protect access to your information from subsequent users.

  7. Children

    This website does not provide services or sell products to children under the age of 18.

  8. Your California Privacy Rights

    Upon your request, California Civil Code Section 1798.83, known as the “Shine the Light” law, requires us to provide to you (a) a list of your personal information, if any, which we have disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year, and (b) the names and addresses of those third parties.  You may make such a request once per calendar year, and we will provide the information to you free of charge. Please send any requests made pursuant to this section by e-mailing us at info@cbdmedsforlife.com.  However, as defined under Section 1798.83, we do not currently share any personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

  9. Updating and Correcting Information.

    We believe you should have the ability to access and edit the information that you have provided to us. You may change any of your information in your account online at any time by linking to your account in accordance with instructions posted elsewhere on this site. You may also access and correct your personal information and privacy preferences by e-mailing us at info@cbdmedsforlife.com. Please include your name and email address when you contact us.

    We encourage you to promptly update your information if it changes. You may ask to have the information on your account deleted or removed; however, some information, such as past transactions, logs of technical support calls, or other information may not be deleted. In addition, it may be impossible to completely delete your information without some residual information because of backups.

  10. User Choices on Collection and Use of Information

    We may, from time to time, send you email regarding new products and services that we feel may interest you. In addition, if you indicated upon registration that you are interested in receiving offers or information from us and our partners, we may occasionally call or send you direct mail about products and services that may be of interest to you. Only CBD (or agents working on behalf of CBD and under confidentiality agreements) will send you these solicitations, and only if you have previously indicated that you wish to receive them. If you do not want to receive solicitations from us, you can "opt-out" by accessing your account online and editing your account information to no longer receive such offers and mailings.

    You also have choices with respect to cookies, as described above. By modifying your browser preferences, you have the choice to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set, or to reject all cookies. If you choose to reject all cookies some parts of our Site may not work properly in your case.

  11. How You Can Access Your Information

    Depending on the respective service, you may have the ability to view or edit your personal information online. In order to help prevent your personal information from being viewed by others, you will be required to sign in with your credentials (e-mail address and password).     If our Privacy Policy or procedures change, we will immediately post those changes to our website. We will occasionally update this privacy statement to reflect changes in our services and customer feedback. When we post changes to this Statement, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this statement. If there are material changes to this statement or in how we will use your personal information, we will notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes prior to implementing the change or by directly sending you a notification.
